This tiny little pond is our go-to for local canoe trips. A few weeks ago, I decided to take my camera and make a session out of it. This spot would be so fun for a mini adventure session!

So, I love this family. My favorite part of my job is getting to capture all different milestones for my favorite clients and friends. From engagement to marriage to this sweet session, it has been an absolute honor watching this family grow.
Right before this pandemic hit, I asked my brother if I could take some photographs of him and his girlfriend.
I would be lying if I told you this location wasn't one of the top reasons I fell in love with my house. Every day I get to walk or drive by this beautiful place.
These two have been such troopers! I typically take a lot of pictures with them, but lately we have been leaving the house after dinner to go on little photography adventures and small hikes so I can bring these blogs to you!
I have had plans to shoot at some sample locations for so long, and I have been putting it off because I was waiting for snow. When it seemed as though we weren't getting anymore, I put it off because I figured no one would want to book this time of year, and of course you wouldn't if you didn't know how beautiful it could be.
I hadn't originally planned on making a blog post or even taking photographs of tapping the maple trees, but the lighting was beautiful, and watching these two little ones drink the sap and help one another was too adorable. Plus, does it get more New England than sugaring season? I hope you all aren't getting sick of seeing my family yet!
If I am being honest, this winter has been a bit of a flop. A lot more rain than snow, the kids catching cold after cold after cold, and with adventures and plans failing, it has been a bit of a disappointment.
What do you do when the fish aren't biting? Play on the ice and take photos, of course! The kids loved ice fishing, even though we didn't catch a thing, although one of them might have been a bit skeptical at first! (I'll bet you can figure out who it was!)
I love snow. I LOVE it. January thaws always get to me, but one lovely thing about a thaw is the fog. We all went out for a little foggy lantern session on Saturday evening, and it was so magical and fun.
